Moving from Knoppix to Ubuntu.
Well... its very late to reveal this. I am using Ubuntu from long time, say from the time of release of edgy eft.(Ubuntu 6.10). The main reason to move to Ubuntu; is very vast distribution, and streamlined forums, where i get answers to most of the problems i face. Of course it is trying to be the best Desktop OS. Beryl is awesome. Following are some of snapshots...

Feisty installed... it was breeze.
NTFS writing is good. Wifi enabling is as easy as updating the BCM4xxx firmware.I have ATI 200M XPRESS graphics card, has to go for propreitory drivers to get Composite feature. So, not yet thinking of beryl/compiz.
